Chery announces partnership with UNICEF
Chery Automobile is proud to reveal it will be teaming up with UNICEF (United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund) to help grant a brighter future for children in disadvantaged countries.
Announced at this year’s Chery International User Summit, Chery has dedicated $6 million to support UNICEF’s global education program.
The partnership will see quality education provided to children in countries such as China, Mexico, South Africa and Turkey, with both brands aiming to empower young minds and allowing them the chance of equal opportunities.
“Chery has held a strong belief in taking responsibility and is actively engaged in global philanthropic activities, including disaster relief, environmental protection, targeted poverty alleviation, and educational support,” said Yin Tongyue, Chairman of Chery Holding Group.
“Chery will mobilise global resources, collaborate with partners from all sectors, and continue to contribute efforts to promote social progress and create a better way of life for all.”
