Offer Period:

Starts 08.00am on 1st November 2024 AEDT 

Finish 10.00pm on 31st December 2024 AEDT*. 

No entries accepted after this time and date. 

*While stock lasts of the TIGGO 8 Pro Max at participating authorised Chery dealers.

 

Eligibility Requirements:

To be eligible to take part in this Promotion, you must within the Offer Period: 

(a) Currently own a Chery motor purchased as a new or demonstrator vehicle from an authorised Chery dealer; 

(b) refer a new customer to purchase a new Chery TIGGO 8 Pro Max from an authorised Chery dealer; 

(c) the new customer must execute the contract for sale, pay the purchase price in full (ie the vehicle cannot be subject to third party finance), and accept the delivery of the vehicle (Purchase)

(d) be either: 

i. an individual who is an Australian resident, and over the age of 18 years; or 

ii. an Australian registered company, corporation, body corporate, charity; and 

(e) not be restricted from entering this Promotion (as set out further below

(An Eligible Entrant).

 

Restrictions:

All entrants must satisfy the Eligibility Requirements listed above. You are not eligible to enter you: 

(a) are a director, manager, employee, officer, agent and contractor, related body corporate, or associate of the Promoter or an authorised Chery dealer, or their immediate family (ie spouse, partner, parent, grandparent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent)); or 

(b) you are a fleet, government or rental purchaser.

 

Claim Instructions:

There may only be one claim per Purchase. To claim, you must:  

(a) prior to 11.59pm on 31 January 2025, visit the website located at www.cherymotor.com.au/campaigns/owners-referral-bonus and submit your details in the online form, including the VIN of your Chery vehicle, name, selling dealer, phone, email, address and any other requested information; and 

(b) upload a clear and legible copy of the proof of purchase (including details of the vehicle and the dealer) of the Purchase as part of the entry process.

Referral Claims will only be accepted prior to 31 January 2025 as outlined in these terms and conditions. 

All Referral Claims are subject to final determination by the Promotor. The Promotor reserves the right to decline any claim which does not comply with these terms and conditions. 

The Promotor reserves the right to extend, modify or cancel this offer. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

 

Referral Gift Details:

There is no limit on the number of Referral Gifts available during the  Offer Period.

Each Referral Claim will receive a Referral  Gift.

Each Referral Gift is a $1,000 Prezzee Smart eGift Card.

The Referral Gift cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.

You will receive the Referral Gift by email within 7 business days after notification of successful claim validation.

 

Claim Notification:

If your Referral Claim is valid, you will receive an email or SMS by 28 February 2025 that your claim is approved.

 

Claim Date:

You must claim the Referral Gift by no later than 28th February 2025 (the "Claim Date").

You may also be requested to submit information to facilitate the delivery of the Referral Gift. Failure to provide such particulars by the Claim Date may result in the Referral Gift being  forfeited.

The Terms and Conditions Schedule set out below applies to this Promotion.

 

Personal Information:

By entering into this Promotion, entrants have agreed to the Promoter's use of their personal information as stipulated by clause 13 of the Terms & Conditions Schedule set out below.

 

TERMS & CONDITIONS SCHEDULE:

  1. These terms and the Promotion Outline form the "Conditions of Entry" for this Promotion and set out all of the information you need to know regarding this Promotion. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in the Promotion Outline, unless otherwise stated. If there's any inconsistency between these terms and the Promotion Outline, then what's in the Promotion Outline is correct. By submitting your entry, you agree that these Conditions of Entry apply to your entry.

  2. The promoter is CHERY MOTOR AUSTRALIA PTY LTD (ACN: 662 958 205) of Suite 3.03, 1F Homebush Bay Drive, Rhodes, NSW  2138, Australia ('Promoter', 'we', 'us').

  3. Any updates to these Conditions of Entry will be available on our website.
  4. The eligibility requirements for this Promotion are set out in the Restrictions.
  5. To enter, you must follow the Claim Instructions.
  6. We will not accept entries which are incomplete, illegible, or which are generated by computers or other automated means.

  7. We reserve the right to disqualify your entry in the event of non-compliance with these Conditions of Entry, failure to meet any guidelines set out in the Claim Instructions, or if (in our reasonable opinion), you tamper or interfere with an entry mechanism in any way.

  8. If the Promotion cannot run for reasons beyond our control (for example, infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, or technical failures), we reserve the right to cancel, suspend, modify or terminate the Promotion.

  9. All decisions made by us regarding any aspect of the Promotion are in our absolute discretion, final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  10. Entries will comprise of your personal information. We reserve the right to verify your entry. If an entry cannot be verified to our satisfaction, that entry will be deemed invalid.

  11. We may, in our absolute discretion, edit, modify, delete, remove or take-down any part of your entry.
  12. By submitting an entry to the Promotion, you agree to assign all rights in your entry to us and consent to us using your entry in any manner we wish, by way of all media, without compensation. By submitting an entry, you consent to any dealings with the entry that may otherwise infringe your moral rights in the entry.

  13. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and by entering this Competition, the entrant is taken to consent to the Promoter privacy policy. Entrants agree that their personal information may be used for this promotion, and for future marketing communications, unless they opt out at the time of entry or by contacting the Promoter at any time. Accordingly, the Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, or any related secondary purpose disclose such information to third parties including but not limited to agents, employees and service providers assisting with this Promotion. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter will keep your personal information for only as long as is necessary to carry out the purpose(s) described above (unless we are required or permitted by law to hold the information for a longer period). The Promoter may use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. All personal information will be collected, handled and dealt with by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter's privacy policy at https://cherymotor.com.au/legal/privacy-policy/. Entrants should direct any request to access, update, correct information or opt out to the Promoter.

  14. The Referral Gift(s) are set out in the Referral Gift Details and are subject to any restrictions specified in these Terms and Conditions. Referral Gift values are accurate as at the commencement date of the Promotion. Any variation after that date is beyond our control. All costs, fees, charges or expenses associated with the Referral Gift(s), which are not specified in the Schedule, are the responsibility of the entrant(s).

  15. Referral Gifts are not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash. If for any reason a referral gift is not available, we will substitute it for another referral gift of equal or higher value (in our discretion).

  16. If (having made reasonable efforts) we cannot contact an entrant, or if any Referral Gift is not accepted or claimed by the Claim Date, that claim may be deemed invalid, and we reserve the right to forfeit the Referral Gift.

  17. If you receive a Referral Gift, you are responsible for your use of the Referral Gift, including complying with all relevant laws and any applicable terms and conditions of use.

  18. We accept no responsibility for any problems or technical malfunction of any communication network or for any late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. We have no control over telephone communications, networks or lines and accept no responsibility for any problems associated with them, whether due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. We are not liable for any consequences of user error including any costs incurred.

  19. You will be responsible for any tax liability associated with a Referral Gift.
  20. To the extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Referral Gift or this Promotion.

  21. We are not responsible for use of a Referral Gift which results in:
    1. loss that was not reasonably foreseeable;
    2. loss that was not caused by our breach of these Conditions of Entry or by our negligence;
    3. business losses (such as lost data, lost profits or business interruptions) or loss suffered by non-consumers;
    4. losses caused by factors which could reasonably be considered to be outside our control (such as faults in third party equipment); and
    5. any loss caused, or contributed to, by an entrant's breach of these Conditions of Entry or an entrant's negligence.
  22. Entrants must not be insolvent, bankrupt, or subject to any form of insolvency proceedings (including but not limited to bankruptcy, voluntary administration, or receivership) at the time of entry or throughout the duration of the Promotion.

  23. These Conditions of Entry are governed by the laws of New South Wales.
