Chery has partnered with Australian-owned 4x4 manufacturer IRONMAN 4X4 to ensure Stockman owners have access to a full accessory range, built specifically for their ute and direct from their Chery dealer.

The Stockman already brings the hardware for serious off-road use: triple lockers, low range, real ground clearance, 3.5-tonne towing and a 350kW/800Nm turbo-diesel plug-in hybrid. What it needed was a proven, factory-backed accessory range and IRONMAN 4X4 worked closely with Chery to develop one. Based on IRONMAN 4X4’s proven catalogue of accessories, the main adaptation for the Stockman PHEV is parts that are constructed from 5052 aluminium alloy, providing a strong balance of strength, corrosion resistance and low weight.

“No matter how capable the Stockman is, Australian off-roaders still want a bull bar, a lift, a canopy and a roof rack,” said Lucas Harris, Chief Operating Officer, Chery Australia. “This range is how they get that, backed by a trusted Australian brand.”

The launch line-up

  • APEX Bull Bar. Full-width triple-hoop aluminium bar with a 12,000lb winch cradle, two rated recovery points and a 4mm front skid plate.
  • Premium Side Rails & Steps. Steel steps for sill protection, with or without the side rail. Slip-resistant powder-coated treads for easier cabin and roof access.
  • Raid Roof Rack. Low-profile aluminium roof rack engineered for strength, reduced wind noise and a clean vehicle-integrated appearance. Optional light bar mounting available.
  • Raid Canopy. Solid-door or glass full aluminium construction with optional central locking. Approx. 70kg fitted, with 180kg dynamic and 380kg static roof load. Side storage, dog windows and roof bars options available.
  • Roller Drawers. Aluminium drawers in a range of heights, with in-built fridge slides and close-fitting wing panels.
  • Rear-Step Tow Bar. Rated to the Stockman’s 3.5-tonne tow capacity, with integrated rated recovery points.
  • IM2.5 Suspension. 50mm lift front and rear, with spring options for 200kg or 300kg constant load.
     

The entire IRONMAN 4x4 Accessory line-up for the Chery Stockman has been engineered and validated to OEM-level requirements, with testing against applicable ADRs and relevant standards covering structural performance, load capacity, corrosion, water ingress, lighting, durability and vehicle integration.

“The partnership gave us proper under-the-hood access to the Stockman,” said Chris Hole, IRONMAN 4X4. “That is why we will match Chery’s 7-year manufacturer warranty on IRONMAN 4X4 accessories ordered with the vehicle.”

Closely following the initial launch, IRONMAN 4X4 are expecting to offer a Federally approved GVM Upgrade including front and rear axle-load upgrades.
