Chery Australia has announced that its Tiggo 4 has achieved a 5-star safety rating from the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) in the latest round of their rigorous testing. The TIGGO 4 Pro was released in October last year and this announcement follows from the 5-star safety rating achieved by both the OMODA 5, Tiggo7 and Tiggo 8 models.

The 5-star ANCAP safety rating is confirmation of Chery's commitment to excellence in automotive safety, highlighting its comprehensive safety design and reinforcing the commitment to customer safety.

The Tiggo 4 scored 88% for Adult Occupant Protection, 87% Child Occupant Protection, 79% Vulnerable Road User Protection and 85% Safety Assist.

"We are extremely proud to receive the prestigious 5-star ANCAP safety rating for the Tiggo 4 ," said Lewis Lu, Chief Executive Officer, Chery Motor Australia. “The Tiggo 4 embodies our deep commitment to safety and showcases Chery’s technical prowess in the era of smart vehicles.  This acknowledgement highlights our steadfast dedication to delivering vehicles that adhere to the most stringent safety standards, offering assurance and peace of mind to our customers”

The street smart Tiggo 4 is the third model from the TIGGO family to arrive in Australia, following the launch of the Tiggo 7 and Tiggo 8 models. Since it’s launch last year, more than 3500 units have already been sold in Australia.
