Chery Motor Australia has enhanced its popular E5 electric SUV for MY27 with a range of new comfort, technology and convenience features, further strengthening its appeal for Australian customers.

The MY27 Chery E5 introduces several upgrades across the cabin and exterior, including enhanced seating comfort, a larger infotainment display and additional convenience features.

The driver’s seat now features four-way lumbar support, massage and ventilation, while the front passenger seat has been upgraded from four-way to six-way power adjustment, with ventilation also added.

Technology has also been enhanced with the central infotainment display increasing from 12.3 inches to 15.6 inches.

The E5 also gains an electrically operated charging-port cover and an active grille shutter, while the interior rear-view mirror is upgraded to an automatic-dimming type.

The latest updates further enhance the E5’s combination of electric performance, technology and everyday practicality, ensuring it continues to offer a compelling package in the competitive electric SUV segment.

Characterised by its innovative crossover design, the Chery E5 is powered by a single electric motor that produces 155kW power and 288Nm of torque. With a driving range of up to 430km (WLTP), the E5 enables drivers to travel freely without the need for frequent charging.
