Chery, a leading global automotive manufacturer, proudly announces the launch of the Chery Community Sports Grant Program, designed to support aspiring athletes across Australia. Recognising that access to resources can impact athlete development, Chery Australia aims to support in levelling the playing field by helping young Australians achieve their sporting dreams.

The Chery Community Sports Grant Program is offering six grants of $5,000 each to help talented individuals realise their athletic potential. The grants will be awarded to those who showcase their most inspiring sporting moments, personal achievements, and heartfelt dreams.

The initiative reflects Chery Australia’s commitment to making a meaningful impact within their community. To reach young audiences, Chery Australia is proud to be working with existing partners St Kilda Football Club and Australian Olympian Riley Day to promote the program.

Chery Australia is keen to connect with their community through this initiative, providing talented young Australians with the support needed to advance their sporting goals. Chery Australia aims to inspire and empower the next generation of athletes to achieve their full potential.

“This program represents our commitment to supporting young athletes and communities across Australia. We believe that the playing field should be even for all young people, particularly at a grassroot level and that the benefits of participating in sports can make a positive impact in the community and contribute to the development of young people far beyond the sporting field.” says Lewis Lu, CEO of Chery Australia.
