Vogue Australia and Chery Motor Australia will celebrate innovation and the exclusive Australian premiere of two new models, the Omoda E5 and Tiggo 4 Pro on Thursday October 10 at The Calyx, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.

At the event, the Vogue Australia team together with Chery Motor will welcome Australia’s leading fashion designers and creative community along with some of the country’s brightest stars who regularly feature on the pages and posts of Vogue Australia. Guests will enjoy a special performance by Charley. The Sydney-based pop singer will be joined by thirteen dancers dressed by local labels Nagnata and Kourh, and will perform a routine choreographed by Australian, American-based multi-disciplinary talent Matthew Gode, who is renowned for his distinct choreographic style, influenced by fashion, visual art and pop culture.

Chery Ambassador Erin Holland will emcee the event, which will include a Q&A with Chery Global Vice President of Design, Steve Eum.

Vogue Australia Editorial Director and Publisher Edwina McCann said: “We are excited to partner with Chery Motor Australia in a coming together of innovation and new ideas. We love the accessibility of the fashionable and innovative design that aligns with Vogue’s core purpose, which is to lift up young creatives of our time, giving them a broader platform to achieve success.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating the Australian premiere of the Chery Omoda E5 and Tiggo 4 Pro with the Chery motoring team and our friends-of-Vogue at a glamorous cocktail party that will bring together innovation and fashion.”

CEO Chery Australia Lewis Lu said: “This is a landmark event for Chery as we launch two innovative new models, including our first electric vehicle in Australia, the OMODA E5, and the street-smart new compact SUV, the Tiggo 4 Pro, and we are delighted to partner with Vogue, one of the world’s most prestigious brands, for a celebration of innovation.

“Collaborating with Vogue perfectly highlights Chery’s innovative yet refined style, and this event truly represents an expression of technology and fashion through the shared values of Vogue and Chery”

Aligning with Vogue’s Vanguard, a monthly showcase of trailblazers in fashion, art, beauty and other cultural touchpoints, the co-hosted event will be a very fashionable launch of a campaign designed to build awareness for Chery with a Gen Z and Millennial audience attracted to innovations that ‘make living on the go easier’.
